Dancing with Baby

In partnership with Babywearing Twin Cities, Young Dance hosts a monthly Dancing with Baby class where caregivers and babies can move, connect, and build community together. Caregivers are invited to bring their preferred baby carrier, try a new one during class, or simply hold their baby while dancing and exploring movement.

Through gentle guided movement, music, and improvisation, caregivers will connect with their own bodies while engaging their little one in playful, creative ways. Classes also create space for conversation, support, and community among caregivers. No dance experience is needed; just come as you are and enjoy moving together.

Drop-in registration is available for $13/class through your online account or at the studio. To save time at the studio, families are encouraged to create an account and register in advance.

Babywearing Twin Cities is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to build the bond between babies and caregivers through baby carrier education and support; to provide a community education service and distribute baby carriers to individuals and other organizations for their use; and to celebrate babywearing among caregivers through online and in-person gatherings.
