Ballet at Young Dance takes a body-positive, concept-approach to developing this classical technique. With an emphasis on alignment (posture), soft joints, long lines, and strong shapes, dancers build skills, learn terminology, develop rhythm, and improve coordination. Ages 9-14; Grades 4-8. Dancers ages 12-14 (Grades 6-8) with previous Ballet experience may register for Ballet 3.
All Abilities Dancing classes are a supportive, community-minded environment for youth living with and without disabilities to express themselves through movement. This class will focus on positive body awareness, creativity, teamwork, motor coordination, and personal expression. Ages 7-11; Grades 2-5.
Students will learn the fundamentals of breaking, including Toprocks, Go-downs, Footwork, Powermoves, and Freezes, in a supportive environment. In addition to learning technique, dancers will have opportunities to advance their freestyle/improvisation skills, as well as to develop choreography collaboratively with their peers. Ages 7-9; Grades 2-3.

Yoga incorporates postures, gentle movement sequences, breath work, meditation, and relaxation to support increased awareness and mindfulness.
