Liz Perez, Event & Office Coordinator

Liz Perez (she/her) is an artist, educator, social justice and mental health advocate. Originally from Long Beach, CA, she received her B.A. in History from California State University Dominguez Hills. In 2012, Liz relocated to St. Paul and began working in special education, focusing on emotional and behavioral disabilities. In 2016, Liz began working as a special education and case manager, and earned a M.A. in special education. In March of 2020, Liz began a small handmade business and eventually began planning outdoor market events, co-founding a collective focusing on creating equitable market event opportunities for Black, Indigenous and People of color, and people with disabilities. Liz is passionate about lifelong learning and growth, creating art as political and social commentary, and building community through collaboration and communication.
