Young Dance seeks Reception Support
Young Dance is looking for reception support Monday–Friday weekdays beginning at 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. This hourly position is compensated at $15/hour and ideally commits to a regular schedule for the 2023–24 Session, which runs September through May.
Duties include greeting students and parents while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Young Dance seeks Hip Hop and Musical Theater Instructors
Young Dance seeks Hip Hop and Musical Theater instructors and assistants for the 2023–24 year and beyond for our growing community partnerships. We seek skilled instructors who foster a developmentally appropriate, safe, supportive, and fun environment.
Young Dance partners with Twin Cities schools, organizations, and government agencies to bring dance to diverse populations across the metro. Partnerships take place during or after the school day. Schedule and duration vary depending on partners.
Candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills to keep track of different schedules. Teaching Artists should also be able to work collaboratively with partners and Young Dance Artistic Director in developing the curriculum.

We’re looking for vibrant individuals who are interested in belonging to a successful nonprofit board. Young Dance is an extraordinary youth dance company and school for young people of all abilities with a mission to “transform lives through movement.” Our Board of Directors works to extend and deepen the efforts of our creative community of dancers, choreographers, and educators.

SKILLS AND INTERESTS NEEDED
Join our “A” Team – a dedicated group of 5-8 community members who collaborate with the Young Dance staff and board members to organize and set up events or other fun tasks.
Grass Roots Publicity – help distribute fliers, brochures, and postcards to neighborhood businesses in the fall and spring.
Fundraising event — help plan and run the event or coordinate volunteers.
We always need help with marketing and public relations leads or content creation.
