Families in Motion – Workshop led by Stuart Pimsler

Families in Motion is a fun, intergenerational workshop for children and their accompanying adults. Through moving together in a supportive group setting, participants explore the joy of physical connection. Facilitated by Artistic Co-Director Stuart Pimsler of Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater, this program has delighted communities throughout Minnesota, as well as nationally and abroad.
Open to all abilities and no dance experience necessary.

Stuart Pimsler is a choreographer, director, author, performer, father, founder, and Artistic Co-director of Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater (SPDT) since 1979. Based in Minneapolis, SPDT has toured globally and throughout the U.S., including commissions and presentations at the Guthrie Theater, Kennedy Center, U.S. Civil Rights Museum, Jacob’s Pillow, and many more. His book, The Choreography of Care/Engaging Caregivers in Creative Expression, chronicles the internationally recognized arts in health work of SPDT www.choreographyofcare.com. In 2015, Stuart created a new work, Heroes Unbound, for a group of Young Dance family members performed for Twin Cities audiences.
