Camps Week 4

August 5 August 8

Camp are offered on 5 different weeks:
Session 1: June 24–27
Session 2: July 8–11
Session 3: July 22–25
Session 4: August 5–8
Session 5: August 19–22

DANCE A STORY: Creative Movement & Storytelling 
Ages: 4–7
M–Th, 9:30 a.m.–noon | Tuition: $150

Your little one can explore movement possibilities with a focus on storytelling. From personal experience to the depths of their imaginations, children will learn to express the stories in their bodies and minds. Children develop motor skills, as well as coordination, rhythm, and listening skills as they go on their creative adventures. 

*The July 8–11 offering of Dance A Story will center the needs of neurodivergent youth and those who may be sensitive to stimulation. a quieter environment, support for taking more breaks, and a range of ways that they participate.

Camps for Ages 8–18

Explore several dance genres and real-world applications with Young Dance for either the morning or afternoon or register for both for a full day of programming! Dancers who sign up for both a morning and afternoon camp will have a supervised lunch break.

Morning Camps: 
M–Th, 9:00–11:30 a.m. | Tuition: $150

In a Specialty Dance Camp, dancers explore how dance connects to other art forms and the world around them.

Choreography: June 24–27
Dance + Photography: July 8–11
All Abilities Dance + Stories: July 22–25
Afro-Latin Fusion: August 5–8
Dance + Photography: August 19–22

Afternoon Camps: 
M–Th, noon–4:30 | Tuition: $250

VARIETY DANCE CAMP

Variety Dance Camp introduces participants to dance forms from some of the Twin Cities’ best educators. Styles include Afro-Latin, Ballet, Choreography, Hip Hop, Improv, Jazz, Modern, Yoga, and more! 

On July 22–25, an additional camp offers dancers with Down Syndrome a space to try various styles and express themselves through movement.
