Waswa (wass) Kalema is a Twin Cities based dancer, choreographer, and multidisciplinary artist with local dance crews Squad7k and Twin Cities Dance Crew (TCDC). Wass has found joy in leading multiple workshops and residencies at studios and schools throughout the Twin Cities. He currently works at Hot House studio, House of Dance, and at the Cowles Center’s Arts Integrated. This year Wass won the Body Prayers for Artist (2022) and his first year with the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves 612-crew. He has battled and studied all over the country and abroad.
