Maggie Zepp is a dancer, choreographer, and early childhood professional living in Minneapolis. She received a BA in Dance and a Master’s in Applied Child and Adolescent Development, both from the University of Minnesota. She began teaching with Young Dance in 2015 and is excited to return after a hiatus. Maggie has enjoyed performing for Twin Cities-based choreographers at venues including the Walker Art Center, The Chocolate Factory, and First Avenue. From 2013 – 2019 she created dances with the collaborative group DaNCEBUMS, and their work was presented at the Red Eye Theater, Southern Theater, and Icehouse MPLS. 

Maggie is a passionate advocate for early childhood education and has worked as a preschool teacher, early childhood research assistant, and early childhood legislative advocate during Minnesota’s 2023 legislative session. She is thrilled to return to Young Dance and loves supporting young children’s creativity and self-expression through play, collaboration, and movement.
