Liz joined the Young Dance Board of Directors in 2023 and brings her dance and nonprofit background to the role. She has worked in the nonprofit space for 11 years and is currently a grant writer at Tubman. She also supports Tubman’s internal employee-led racial justice work, most recently surrounding land acknowledgment. Liz grew up as a competitive dancer and continued to dance with local groups in the Twin Cities after college, including performing at the Walker Art Center’s Choreographers’ Evening, Renovate at the Ritz Theater, and Momentum at the Southern Theater. She loves traveling with her family, frequenting local coffee shops, and anything Tolkien. She currently takes the Dance Together class with her 2 year old and is thrilled to continue to share her appreciation for dance with her daughter and help Young Dance grow and thrive as a board member.
