Heidi Draskoci-Fricke (hear it), a lifelong dancer and passionate communicator, is thrilled to serve Young Dance as the Marketing and Communications Director.
Since moving to the Twin Cities in 2011, Heidi has had the privilege of working exclusively within the nonprofit community including as the Program and Communications Manager for Circus Juventas, Marketing and Events Manager for Angel Foundation, Project Coordinator for Minnesota Public Radio and Events Manager for Achieve Twin Cities. Prior to this administrative work, Heidi taught modern and tap dance technique in Winona, MN at the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts, where she also set dance work on the young people of the Youth Performance Company.
Heidi is a graduate of Winona State University with a degree in Mass Communications and minor studies in dance. She lives in the Midway neighborhood of St Paul with her husband, young son and three dogs. In her free time, Heidi enjoys going for long walks, dancing in her kitchen, making candles, cooking and feeding people.
