Belle Alvarez

Mariadela Belle Alvarez is a Latinx dancer-capoerista-artivista with 10 years of experience as a Teaching Artist. Born in Honduras, raised in the Philippines, and having come of age in Philadelphia, Alvarez creates and collaborates with the belief that dance is futuristic technology for organizing, healing, and liberation. Belle is presently an Artist with Ananya Dance Theatre, an Annual Fund Specialist at Common Hope, and a lover of social dance. Belle holds a BFA in Dance from Temple University.
