Born and raised in Minnesota, Alex Arce studied technical and street dance styles since the age of 8. Alex trained at Larkin Dance Studio and graduated from the Saint Paul Conservatory, working with top choreographers throughout the United States and Poland. After high school, Alex was accepted into The CLI Conservatory, created by Teddy Forance, where he performed and trained with diverse styles and choreographers. He became a company member, choreographer, and instructor with CLI Studios. As a freelance artist and company member with Meridian Movement Company, Alex hopes to cultivate and grow his learning and life experiences to create and transform the next generation of young artists. Through teaching and performing, Alex strives to advance the dance culture in connection with our roots and honoring the foundations of various dance styles.
