Rachel Clark

Rachel is a dancer and teacher, and thrilled to be working with the students at Young Dance! She has been dancing in Minneapolis for almost 7 years, and has performed in works by Mathew Janczewski/Arena Dances, Scott Stafford, Jennifer Arave, Paula Mann, Chris Schlichting, Halie Bahr, Pedro Pablo Lander, Laurie Van Wieren, Anna Marie Shogren, Theresa Madaus, and herself, and in 2018 had the time of her life performing in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. She grew up in Washington state and was trained in a youth ballet company, and came to Minnesota to attend Carleton College, where she studied modern dance and improvisation with Jane Shockley and Judith Howard. She has worked with young people of all ages in public schools, and now in a dance studio! In her free time she likes to read, play the guitar, and go for long walks.
