Mitzy Galvan-Pizana started her dance journey back in 2019 when she joined a local K-pop dance group, MKDC. Since then, she’s had the opportunity to work with the Korean Consulate to promote Korean culture in Los Angeles and performed at the Mall of America for Korean World Fest.

Her teaching career began in 2023 with Arena Dances, providing K-pop dance classes to middle schoolers, in addition to subbing at Cypher Side Dance School. She currently teaches Hip Hop through Community Partnerships through Young Dance.

Outside of Young Dance, Mitzy works at South Washington County as a paraprofessional and is currently a student Normandale college. She believes that the power of music and movement can promote community and positivity.
