Brittany Keefe, Communications

Brittany Keefe is thrilled to serve as the Marketing and Communications person at Young Dance. She has dedicated her life to the transformative power of moving through space.

She taught as an adjunct faculty professor at Northern Illinois University and Rockford University, as the School Director of the Rockford Dance Company, and as a master teacher at studios across the country. As a professional dancer, Brittany performed with Collide Theatrical Dance Company, James Sewell Ballet, Minnesota Dance Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Ballet Memphis, American Repertory Ballet, Terpsicorps Dance Theater, Terra Firma Dance Company, Chamber Dance Project, at the National Choreographers’ Initiative, Morphoses, and numerous independent projects. 

Other highlights include a solo improvisational show in Europe and performing as an American ambassador at an international dance festival in Cali, Columbia. Brittany is certified in the GYROTONIC® exercise method and runs a home-based movement studio called My Spiral Motion. Brittany is the Co-Artistic Director of DanceCo, a dance theater company that creates original narratives for young audiences and their families. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Leadership at the University of Minnesota.
