Anna Maniak is a Performance Artist specializing in Waacking. She has, and is still, learning from national and international teachers and is working to make Waacking more accessible in Minnesota. In addition to teaching weekly Waacking classes at Hothouse, Anna showcases and battles as a member of the duo, 1AM. In 2024, Anna choreographed for Homies Showcase, Choreos UMN Showcase, and as a Showcase guest artist with The Workroom at the Minnesota State Fair. She also battled and placed Top 4 All-Styles 2v2 at Cypherside X MOA Battle Rotunda, competed at Disco Connection San Jose and taught the first ever Waacking workshop at ChoreosUMN! Anna is joining Young Dance as part of the reception team.
