In-School Performances and Workshops
Young Dance recognizes that schools need additional assistance bringing art into the classroom. We offer free, in-school dance workshops and performances. We can only schedule a limited number per year, so schedule your workshop early.

Spring School Matinee
We offer $3 tickets to school groups that attend our Thursday matinees at our season finale concert in May. We have funding available to help with busing, so this is an affordable theater outing for school groups. Teachers often schedule an in-school workshop close to the performance.

Financial assistance for students
If you know of a young person that is interested in dancing, we make it easy. We have a carpool network for children that have trouble arranging after-school transportation. Any child that receives free or reduced lunch automatically receives a 55% scholarship. This means that one Level One class is only $3.60. If a student wishes to be involved in the company, we can provide up to an 80% scholarship based on financial need.
