This incredible young people's modern dance company invites you to an inspiring matinee. Found in Translation explores the language of dance and the role of the dancer as interpreter of that language. Each piece explores the ways in which dance functions as both universal language and vernacular slang specific to each body.

Found in Translation features choreography by some the Twin Cities leading voices in contemporary dance, including Kenna-Camara Cottman/Voice of Culture Drum and Dance, Penelope Freeh, Sarah Jacobs, ROTATOR (Chris Schlichting + Morgan Thorson), Supergroup (Sam Johnson, Erin Search-Wells and Jefrey Wells), and Laurie Van Wieren.

Since 1987, Young Dance has encouraged youth in our community to build body and spirit through the creative art of dance.
